Opici-imported Giesen 0% has released its non-alcoholic Spritzes in 4-packs of 250-ml. cans. The Spritzes come in at fewer than 35 calories and 0.5% abv per 5-ounce pour and are made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes from New Zealand. The new format carries a suggested price of $21 per pack and is now available across the U.S. The dealcoholized Spritzes sit alongside Giesen 0%’s other alcohol-free offerings, which include Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Rosé, Riesling, Red Blend, Sparkling Brut, and Chardonnay. Giesen 0% jumped 52% to nearly 120,000 cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.
Woodinville Whiskey, part of the Moët Hennessy range, is debuting Woodinville Straight Bourbon Aged 9 Years, the distillery’s oldest age-stated whiskey to date. Retailing at $130 and weighing in at 100 proof, the new whiskey is now available nationally. The new offering as been aging in Woodinville’s barrelhouses in Quincy, WA since 2016, in heavily toasted, lightly charred barrels made from 24-month open-air seasoned staves by Independent Stave Company. It has a mashbill of 55% corn, 35% rye, and 10% malted barley mashbill, a departure from Woodinville’s flagship mashbill.
