October 8, 2025•Palm Bay International has appointed Jeff Corbett as chief sales officer. Corbett, a three-decade industry veteran, joins Palm Bay from Deutsch Family Wines & Spirits, where he was senior vice president of business development. In his new role, Corbett will lead Palm Bay’s national sales organization, working with internal sales teams and distributor partners to drive sales strategy and strengthen customer partnerships, according to the company. Palm Bay ranks as the 10th-largest wine marketer in the U.S. in volume terms at 5.5 million cases, according to Impact Databank, led by Italy’s Cavit at 3.6 million cases.
•Moët Hennessy has extended its partnership with LeBron James, releasing a new limited edition Hennessy VSOP bottling alongside “The Second Decision,” a new ad campaign featuring the NBA star. The new bottling will be available in select markets around the world this month and features an orange label with an illustration of James performing his “crowning” gesture. “The Second Decision” is a series of social media focused ads showing James’s connection to Hennessy and fans of both himself and the brand. Last year, Hennessy was at 3.2 million cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.
•Regal Wine Co. and Provi have expanded their partnership to cover all of California, bringing Provi’s B2B order management software to Regal’s customers across the Golden State. The move will allow customers to place orders, contact sales reps, pay bills, and explore new products all within Provi’s ecosystem. Founded by Jess Jackson and Barbara Banke, Regal Wine Co.’s portfolio includes Jackson Family Wines, Kobrand, Vineyard Brands, Boisset Collection, Hope Family Wines, Union Wine Company, Champagne Henriot, and Scheid Family Wines, among many others.
•Terlato Wine Group CEO Bill Terlato has been awarded the highest honor from the Italian state, the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, Cavaliere/Knight (Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana, OMRI), recognizing his contributions and investments in promoting Italian culture, wines and spirits, and heritage around the world. The award was presented on October 5 in Chicago, hosted by the Italian Consulate General. “I am deeply honored to receive this distinction from the Italian Republic, joining my father Antony Terlato and grandfather Anthony Paterno who were also OMRI recipients,” said Terlato.
