  • Clase Azul México is introducing Clase Azul Tequila Día de Muertos Edición Limitada Recuerdos, the fifth and final edition of its annual series Nuestros Recuerdos (“Our Memories”). Debuting in a limited edition of 10,000 decanters, the special anejo is a blend of spirits aged from 12 to 38 months in first-use American whiskey casks, with a portion of the agave cooked in a traditional pit oven. The ivory-hued decanter features work by Mexican artist Erika Rivera. Clase Azul Día de Muertos Edición Limitada Recuerdos retails at $1,900 a 1-liter decanter, plus taxes.
  • The Duckhorn Portfolio has launched a new employee ownership plan under which it has granted all 598 regular full-time and part-time employees equity in the company. Participation in the program is free and offered automatically in addition to regular salary and benefits. “Not only does our new ownership program acknowledge their invaluable contributions, but it also gives all eligible employees a direct stake in the company’s success and is designed to recognize and reward their hard work and dedication,” said Duckhorn CEO Robert Hanson.
