Moët Hennessy Sales Turn Positive In Third Quarter
October 15, 2025Moët Hennessy saw sales return to growth in the third quarter, rising 1% organically on improved trends in its Champagnes & Wines division. For the nine months through September the luxury drinks marketer saw sales dip 4% organically to €3.9 billion ($4.5b).
Moët Hennessy’s Champagnes & Wines unit grew sales 3% to €2.2 billion ($2.6b) in the first nine months of the year, led by better performance of Champagne brands such as Veuve Clicquot and Moët & Chandon, along with solid sales for its Provence rosé wines, including Chateau d’Esclans and Chateau Minuty. Those gains were offset in the nine-month period by ongoing challenges in the Cognac category, as the group’s Cognac & Spirits division, led by Hennessy, declined 12% to €1.8 billion ($2.1b).—Daniel Marsteller
