October 23, 2025•Brown-Forman has announced Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Special Release Tanyard Hill Rye, the newest yearly addition to the brand’s line of specialty high-end releases. This year’s whiskies come in between 65.10% and 74.40% abv, depending on the barrel. The whiskey is made from a mash of 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted barley, and the barrels have been aging since November 2015. The new release is rolling out now in limited quantities across the U.S. at $80 a 700-ml. bottle. •Bear Fight Whiskey, part of Next Century Spirits, has released Orchard & Vine Kentucky Straight Bourbon, a new autumn limited edition. The 45% abv Bourbon is finished in a combination of Calvados and Port barrels. The whiskey is rolling out now across the U.S., carrying a suggested price of $45 a bottle. The LTO sits alongside brand mainstays like Bear Fight American Single Malt and Bear Fight Kentucky Straight Bourbon finished in Reposado Tequila Barrels.
•Suntory Global Spirits has unveiled a new partnership between Japanese whisky Hibiki and artist Hiroshi Senju, with the painter creating unique artwork for Hibiki’s 21- and 30-year-old whiskies. The art, “Waterfall on Colors ‘Hibiki,’” uses Senju’s particular painting technique that involves “filling canvas panels with water, hokaimatsu, a natural marble powder, and allowing the flow of water to guide the colors freely,” according to Suntory. The pair of whiskies are both bottled at 43% abv, with the 21-year-old retailing for a suggested price of $900 and the 30-year-old for $7,500. The pair are rolling out now in the U.S. in limited quantities.
