•Miami’s South Beach Brewing Company has partnered with rapper and entrepreneur Rick Ross to create two new hemp THC drinks. The new offerings—Slack Tide and High Tide—are infused with both CBD and THC. Slack Tide is at 5mg of each and flavored with watermelon and mint, and High Tide is at 10mg and blueberry and strawberry flavored. In addition to entering the hemp THC space, South Beach Brewing announced a new line of spirits-based RTDs, set to hit shelves in December.

Horticulture Co. has teamed up with NBA legend Allen Iverson and cannabis company Viola brands to launch a new line of hemp THC drinks in Circle K convenience stores. The new line—marketed under the Iverson and Viola brands—comes in cran-apple, berry, and nectarine flavors, all at 10mg of THC. As part of the exclusivity deal with Circle K, the chain will be the only retailer to carry the Sneaker Box variety pack, which comes in a package inspired by limited edition sneaker drops. The new line will launch in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida by the end of the year, with full nationwide expansion (where legal) planned for 2026.

•Maryland-based cannabis company Curio Wellness has expanded into Missouri, acquiring four Greenlight dispensaries across the southeastern region of the state. Financials were not disclosed and the transaction is subject to regulatory approval. In addition to giving Curio a retail foothold in Missouri, the move will make Curio’s branded products more available to other dispensaries throughout the state. Meanwhile, Curio is planning to launch its products in New York state through a partnership with Vireo Health and open a franchise location in New Jersey before the end of the year.

Canadian cannabis sales reached C$498 million ($356m) in August, setting a new record for nation’s legal market. According to Statistics Canada, year-to-date sales have reached C$3.6 billion ($2.57b), with this year on track to set a new record for annual sales. In August, Ontario led sales with C$197 million, followed by Alberta at CA$86.3 million, British Columbia at CA$79.3 million, and Quebec at CA$62.1 million, with those four provinces contributing roughly 85% of nationwide sales.
