•Rémy Cointreau’s Bruichladdich single malt Scotch whisky has released The Laddie Rye, a new U.S. exclusive and limited release. The 50% abv whisky is distilled from locally grown rye and malted barley and aged for seven years in a combination of first-fill Bourbon barrels and new toasted American oak barrels. The Laddie Rye carries a suggested retail price of $60 and is now available in select retailers nationwide. Last year, Bruichladdich was at 8,000 cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.

Piper-Heidsieck, part of the Folio Fine Wine partners portfolio in the U.S., has announced Code Rouge, a new limited edition holiday bottling of the Champagne house’s Cuvée Brut. The packaging for the release is inspired by a vintage fire extinguisher and the bottling is being marketed with the tagline “In Case of Champagne Emergency.” Code Rouge carries a suggested price of $76 and is available online via Noble Wine Merchants with select retail rolling out across the U.S. for the holiday season. Piper-Heidsieck had U.S. volume of 39,000 cases last year, according to Impact Databank.
