Treasury Lifts Penfolds Sales With Vintec Promotion

Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) has boosted sales of its flagship Penfolds brand this month, thanks to a successful promotion with Vintec wine refrigerators in its home market of Australia. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the promotion allows consumers who buy six or more bottles of Penfolds’ higher-end labels at retail the chance to buy a discounted Vintec temperature-controlled wine cabinet for $200, plus delivery fees. Normally, the cabinets retail for around $650. As many as 12,000 Vintec wine cabinets are believed to have been purchased under the deal, which ends tomorrow.
