•Portland, Oregon’s Widmer Brothers Brewing has released three new brews—Widberry, Blackbier and Big Ben Porter—as part of its 30 Beers for 30 Years anniversary series of limited releases. Widberry, originally introduced in 1994, is a 4.6%-abv weizenbier brewed with raspberries. Blackbier, created in 1995, is a 6.5%-abv ale brewed in a German Schwarzbier style, and Big Ben Porter, which debuted in 1996, is billed as a 5.5%-abv London-style porter brewed with molasses and licorice. All three are packaged in 22-ounce bottles featuring the work of local Portland artists and will be available for the next few weeks.
