August 18, 2014•Longmont, Colorado’s Oskar Blues Brewery is releasing a canned version of its Old Chub Nitro. The canned version of the brew will be 6.9% abv instead of Old Chub’s typical 8% abv, as a result of retailer feedback. Old Chub Nitro retails for $8.99 a four-pack in the 35 states within the brewery’s distribution footprint. The addition of nitrogen gas during the carbonation process results in a thick, creamy mouth feel for its Nitro beers, says Oskar Blues.
