Winebow Expands Wholesale Footprint With Acquisition Of Washington’s Noble Wines Ltd
November 4, 2015The Winebow Group has extended its wholesale tier presence to 19 states, announcing this morning the acquisition of Noble Wines Ltd., a distributor with operations in Washington state and Idaho. Founded by Chuck Marush and Greg Nelson in 1988, Noble Wines counts Dreyfus Ashby, Kongsgaard, Ramey, Cliff Lede, Kistler, Hall, Loosen Bros. and Bieler Pere et Fils among its suppliers. Marush and Nelson will stay on with the company—which will trade as Noble Wines, a member of The Winebow Group—managing day-to-day operations. The Winebow Group was formed last year via the merger of Winebow and The Vintner Group, both fine wine importers with multi-state wholesale businesses.
