Southern Glazer’s Names Regional Presidents

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits has announced a series of regional leadership appointments that will take effect when the fully merged distribution giant begins operations in the coming months. John Wittig, currently EVP-general manager of SWS-Florida, will become president, Eastern Region, while Mike McLaughlin, currently Glazer’s EVP of sales and marketing, will become president Central Region. Patrick Daul, now SVP, commercial strategy at SWS-California, has been named Southern Glazer’s president, Western Region. Finally, Kevin Fennessey, currently Southern’s EVP, commercial strategy, will become Southern Glazer’s EVP, commercial operations. Southern Glazer’s also noted that its control state activities will operate as a group separate from its open state regional structure.
