March 20, 2017•Craft Brew Alliance (CBA) has reported a net sales decline of 1% to $203 million for 2016, as shipments fell 6% on the year prior. Kona, which is best known for its Big Wave and Longboard Island Lager brands, now accounts for more than 50% of the group’s portfolio. For 2017, CBA is projecting shipments ranging between a 1% decrease and 4% growth. Along with Kona, the CBA portfolio includes Redhook, Widmer Brothers, Omission Beer and Square Mile Cider. The brewer also has contract brewing partnerships with North Carolina’s Appalachian Mountain Brewery, Massachusetts-based Cisco Brewers and Miami’s Wynwood Brewing.
