May 24, 2017•San Francisco-based North Channel Distillery has introduced Frisco, a Pisco-inspired unaged brandy. Produced with wine made from California grapes, Frisco ($35 a 750-ml.) is double distilled in a copper pot still, then undergoes a charcoal mellowing process. The 45%-abv entry is currently available in California and New York, with further market expansion to follow this year. Frisco marks North Channel Distillery’s inaugural craft spirit offering.
