January 25, 2018•St. Louis, Missouri’s Schlafly Beer has launched Northeast IPA, the first beer in its 2018 Hop Allocation Series. The 8%-abv IPA is unfiltered and billed as having a juicy, fruit-driven profile. This year’s Hop Allocation series will also feature the return of Schlafly’s Rye IPA, American IPA, Double IPA, and Tasmanian IPA, plus a new India Pale Lager that will debut this summer. Northeast IPA is now available in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and on draft at Schlafly’s St. Louis locations. The bottled beer is currently rolling out across the company’s 12-state distribution footprint alongside limited draft.
•Kansas City’s Boulevard Brewing Co. has added Jam Band fruit ale to its year-round lineup. First launched last summer as a draft-only limited release, Jam Band is made with blueberry, raspberry and cherry juices and will be available in six-packs of 12-ounce cans, as well as on draft. The 5.9%-abv fruit ale marks the 11th offering in Boulevard’s year-round portfolio. Boulevard Brewing, which is part of Duvel Moortgat USA, has a U.S. footprint spanning 39 states.
