•Los Angeles-based Stillhouse Spirits Co. has launched Black Bourbon, billed as the first Bourbon rested and matured on roasted, small-batch coffee beans. A distillation of corn, rye, barley, and limestone water, the new entry is barreled in charred new American oak barrels prior to being charcoal filtered and then rested on coffee beans. The 40%-abv Stillhouse Black Bourbon is available across the company’s distribution footprint, retail priced at $30 a 750-ml. A pocket-sized 375-ml. Stillhouse Black Bourbon flask ($20) will debut this summer. The new expression joins Original, Apple Crisp, Peach Tea, Coconut, Mint Chip, Red Hot, and Spiced Cherry whiskies in the Stillhouse portfolio.
