April 15, 2019•Brown-Forman is rolling out a new high-end Jack Daniel’s extension in the U.S. Formerly a travel retail exclusive, Jack Daniel’s No. 27 Gold Tennessee Whiskey is aged in new charred American white oak barrels, then transitioned to maple wood barrels. The upscale expression also sees an additional charcoal filtration after aging. No. 27 Gold (40% abv) is suggested to be served neat or on the rocks and retails at $100 a bottle. According to Impact Databank, the core Jack Daniel’s brand was up 0.3% to 5.25 million cases in the U.S. last year.
