July 18, 2019•Texas-based Spoetzl Brewery has announced a new addition to its Shiner brand’s Brewer’s Pride series, Brut IPA. Bottled at 6.8% abv, Shiner Brut IPA is billed as a lively, sparkling ale brewed using a new experimental hop that is a cross of Fuggle and Cascade to impart bright aromatics and a dry finish. The limited edition offering is rolling out nationwide in 25-ounce bottles and 6-packs of 12-ounce bottles, with the latter retailing at $11.
