News Alert: Pernod Acquires Texas Craft Distiller Firestone & Robertson

Pernod Ricard has added to its craft whiskey stable with the acquisition of Texas-based Firestone & Robertson Distilling Co. No financials were disclosed.

Headquartered in Fort Worth, Firestone & Robertson is known for its TX brand of premium whiskies. The deal includes the company’s Whiskey Ranch, a state-of-the-art distillery nearby downtown Fort Worth, which offers a TX brand Experience, including tours and tastings.

Pernod Ricard North America chairman and CEO Paul Duffy said the company plans to expand distribution of the TX brand. Firestone & Robertson is the latest in a series of bolt-on acquisitions for Pernod, including Rabbit Hole and Smooth Ambler whiskies, Malfy gin, and Monkey 47 gin, among others.—Daniel Marsteller
