Whisky Advocate To Unveil Its Whisky Of The Year

After counting down the Top 10 most exciting whiskies of 2019 last week at whiskyadvocate.com/top20, Whisky Advocate will reveal its Whisky of the Year this morning at 10 a.m. Eastern.

Last Wednesday, whiskies No.-4, No.-3, and No.-2 were named, including two Straight Bourbons and a blended Scotch whisky, preceded by Nos.-7, -6, and -5 (two Bourbons and a single malt Scotch), and Nos.-10, -9, and -8 (an Irish whiskey and two single malt Scotches).

Whisky Advocate will unveil its full Top 20 Whiskies of 2019 tomorrow, capping the festivities with its WhiskyFest New York event at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. Next year, WhiskyFest will travel to Chicago (March 27), New York (October 29), and San Francisco (December 4), and hold its first event in collaboration with sister publication Cigar Aficionado—Big Smoke Meets WhiskyFest—in Hollywood, Florida April 3-4.
