March 6, 2020•Michigan-based Founders Brewing has added 4 Giants IPA as the latest offering under its Limited Series. The 9.2%-abv IPA is made with seven different varieties of American hops. Rolling out nationally in April, 4 Giants will be available in 12-ounce bottles and on draft, retailing at $10 a four-pack. The new entry follows Frangelic Mountain Brown in Founders’ Limited Series. Founders’ core beers include Centennial IPA and All Day IPA. Spain’s Mahou-San Miguel took a controlling stake in Founders last summer.
•Newport, Oregon-based Rogue Ales & Spirits has launched Shavasana, a new imperial blonde ale. The 8% abv beer is brewed with 2-row malt and Crystal hops plus granola, coconut, honey, and sweet oats. It’s named for a relaxation pose commonly performed at the end of a yoga class. The beer is rolling out this month in 22-ounce bottles and on draft throughout Rogue’s distribution footprint.
