Wine Spectator’s Wine of the Year
December 11, 2020Wine Spectator has unveiled its wine of the year for 2020: a 2010 Gran Reserva Rioja Especial. The release scored 96 points from the magazine and retails for $139. The announcement caps a week of celebrating Wine Spectator’s best wines of the year, including a 2012 Champagne, a 2016 Barolo, a 2016 Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon, and a 2018 Sonoma County Pinot Noir, among others.
