Rémy’s Sales Surge In Fiscal First Quarter
July 20, 2021Rémy Cointreau saw sales roughly double on an organic basis to €293.1 million ($345m) in the three months through June, representing the first quarter of its fiscal year. The company cited “continued excellent momentum in the United States and mainland China, and a clear improvement in the EMEA region thanks to the gradual reopening of the on-trade channel.”
Sales were especially strong for Rémy’s Cognac division, which rose 114% to €200 million ($235m), boosted by “sustained demand highlighting the resilience of home consumption and a strong recovery in on-trade distribution” in the U.S.—Daniel Marsteller
