•New Paltz, New York-based Coppersea Distilling has appointed Dan Denisoff as president and COO. Denisoff spent nearly 20 years at Pernod Ricard USA in executive operational leadership roles. Coppersea produces ultra-premium whiskies from Hudson Valley grains using heritage methods like on-site organic farming, open wooden fermenters, direct-fired copper pot stills, floor-malting, and low barrel proof aging. They include Excelsior Straight Rye, Excelsior Straight Bourbon, Bonticou Crag Straight Rye Malt, Bonticou Crag Bottled-in-Bond Rye Malt, Springtown Straight Whisky, and Big Angus Green Malt Whisky.
