Santa Margherita Enters Oregon Wine Category

Yesterday, SND exclusively reported that Miami-based Santa Margherita USA has acquired a majority stake in Willamette Valley, Oregon-based winery Roco.

No financials were disclosed. Roco produces about 15,000 cases annually, with its flagship wines retailing in the $25-$40 range, “with plans to grow further in the future,” according to Santa Margherita USA chief executive Vincent Chiaramonte. Here’s the full story.
