Kate And Allan Latts Named Co-Presidents At Heaven Hill

Heaven Hill Brands has appointed current chief marketing officer Kate Latts and chief operating officer Allan Latts as co-presidents, effective September 1. Current president Max Shapira will be assuming the new role of executive chairman.

The new appointments mark a transition to third-generation family leadership for the company. Kate Latts is Max Shapira’s daughter. She and her husband Allan have been with Heaven Hill since 2001.

Heaven Hill’s portfolio is led by Bourbons like Evan Williams and Elijah Craig, but also includes an array of other offerings including Deep Eddy vodka, Admiral Nelson’s rum, and Lunazul Tequila, with total U.S. volume estimated at above 16 million cases. Here’s the full story.
