The Wine Group and Southern Glazer’s Form National Partnership

The Wine Group and Southern Glazer’s announced that they have expanded their partnership to form a national strategic alignment. The new agreement includes a portfolio expansion in the markets of Washington D.C., Florida, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, and Texas.

The Wine Group will begin the transition of its portfolio to these markets beginning April 1, with Southern Glazer’s exclusive responsibility taking effect May 1. With the new agreement, SGWS will handle The Wine Group’s portfolio nationally, including Cupcake, Franzia, Benziger, Imagery, Tribute, 7 Deadly, Cooper & Thief, The Dreaming Tree, and Charles Smith Wines, among others.—Danny Sullivan
