•Chicago, Illinois-based Cresco Labs announced an expansion of its partnership with rapper Wiz Khalifa on his Khalifa Kush cannabis brand. Having launched Khalifa Kush in the California market, the brand will now expand to Massachusetts, where the company enjoys the top spot in terms of market share. Khalifa Kush products including flower and pre-rolls in the brand’s KK and Khalifa Mints strains are available for purchase now exclusively at Sunnyside dispensaries in Fall River, Framingham, Leicester, and Worcester. An expanded lineup will arrive at additional retail partners in the near future.

•Leading U.S. edibles company Wana Brands re-entered the state of Florida and vape brand Jetty reached Colorado. Wana’s renewed presence in Florida is the result of a partnership with Surterra Wellness to bring its gummies portfolio, including flavors like Blueberry Indica, Watermelon Hybrid, Mango Sativa, and Strawberry Lemonade to medical consumers across 45 retail locations. Jetty also recently entered the New York recreational market, bringing it to three states overall with its home state of California. Canopy USA LLC is set to exercise its rights to acquire both brands, pending shareholder approval

•Cannabis sales in Canada were up slightly in May to C$415.6 million ($315m) nationwide, according to data from Statistics Canada. The largest province was Ontario, where May sales totaled C$162.5 million, up from C$160.1 million in April. Alberta contributed C$74.3 million, while British Columbia was worth C$64.8 million, and Quebec sold C$52.5 million. Sales are up approximately 10% year over year.
