Craft Brewing and Distilling News for July 25, 2023

•Purcellville, Virginia’s Catoctin Creek Distilling has released the newest rye whiskey in their collaborative series with musicians GWAR, Ragnarök Rye: Oderus Edition. The release is a celebration of the band’s frontman Dave Brockie who passed away in 2014. It’s bottled at 46% abv and the bottle features artwork drawn by Brockie. Only 200 cases of the limited release will be made available for $99 a bottle through both the distillery’s existing national distribution network beginning on August 1.
