August 2, 2023•Louisville, Kentucky’s Barrell Craft Spirits has released two new whiskies, Bourbon Batch 035 and Rye Batch 004. Barrell’s latest Bourbon is a blend of Indiana Bourbons aged six, seven, and eight years; Tennessee Bourbons aged seven and 13 years; and an 8-year-old Kentucky Bourbon. Batch 035 is bottled at 58.12% abv. The new rye is a blend of five-, six-, and 10-year-old Indiana rye; 5-year-old Tennessee rye; 6-year-old Kentucky rye; and 14-year-old Canadian rye. Batch 004 comes in at 57.85% abv. Both new releases are available through the company’s website and in select retailers across the U.S. for a suggested price of $90 a bottle.
•Anderson Valley Brewing Company has expanded its partnership with Breakthru Beverage, adding increased distribution in California’s East Bay region. The deal will bring Anderson Valley’s portfolio to a host of new accounts in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. The distributor will handle Anderson Valley’s full portfolio including Boont Amber Ale, the Bourbon Barrel Series beers, the brewery’s Goses, the Pilsner, and its Coastal Ale.
