•Constellation Brands’ High West has announced the 2023 edition of Campfire, set to hit shelves August 4. The 46% abv whiskey is blend of Bourbon, rye, and single malt Scotch, all aged between four and eight years. For the first time, the 2023 edition uses 100% of High West’s in-house distilled rye whiskey. The whiskey carries a suggested price of $80 a bottle and will be available for a limited time across the U.S. To commemorate the release, and continue the brand’s “Protect the West” program, the company will donate $50,000 to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. High West grew 16% to 170,000 cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.

•Bardstown, Kentucky’s Heaven Hill has filled its 10 millionth barrel of whiskey. To celebrate the milestone, the company welcomed the local community, and state and local government officials—including governor Andy Beshear—to the distillery. According to Heaven Hill, they are the only family-owned company to reach the 10 million barrel mark. The whiskey will age in Rickhouse Y, where Heaven Hill stores its other milestone barrels. The celebration comes roughly a year after Heaven Hill began construction on a new Bardstown distillery, capable of producing up to 450,000 barrels a year once production is in full swing.

•Mercer + Prince, the collaborative whisky created by rapper A$AP Rocky and E.&J. Gallo, has launched its first ad campaign, “Carefully Crafted.” The video features the star walking through the process of creating the whisky and its packaging. •Infinium Spirits’ Templeton Distillery has announced its latest barrel-finished rye, this time using Tequila barrels for the whiskey’s final maturation. The 46% abv whiskey starts out as a 6-year-old rye before finishing for three to six months in Tequila Corralejo 99,000 horas Extra Añejo barrels. The fifth cask-finished rye to be released by Templeton, Tequila Cask Finish is limited to 4,200 cases and will hit shelves in select retailers across the U.S. beginning in September. Templeton was at 65,000 cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.
