Pernod Ricard Unveils The Latest From Redbreast

Pernod Ricard has announced Redbreast Tawny Port Cask Edition, the latest limited edition release from the single pot still Irish whiskey brand, which rose 13% to 63,000 cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank. The 46% abv whiskey initially matures in a combination of Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon casks, with a portion of those whiskies transferred to Port casks for a number of years. Finally, the base whiskies are blended and finished in Tawny Port hogsheads for anywhere from 14 to 25 months.

Redbreast Tawny Port Cask Edition is rolling out now across the U.S. for a suggested price of $100 a bottle. It marks the third offering in Redbreast’s Iberian Series, following 2021 release Redbreast Pedro Ximénez Edition, and permanent expression and series anchor Redbreast Lustau Edition.
