November 13, 2023•Bacardi has announced the 2023 edition of Patrón’s Mexican Heritage Tin, designed in collaboration with Mexican Formula 1 racer Checo Pérez. The tin features Pérez’s number (11) as well as designs inspired by his life. The brand will celebrate the release at the upcoming Las Vegas Formula 1 race and is also hosting a sweepstakes that will bring the two winners to the race. This year’s Mexican Heritage Tin, containing a bottle of Patrón Silver Tequila, is now available in select retailers across the U.S. for a suggested price of $60.
•Constellation Brands’ High West Distillery has released A Midwinter Night’s Dram Act 11 in California through a new partnership with e-commerce provider Speakeasy. The whiskey is High West’s annual release of a port barrel finished version of Rendezvous Rye (itself a blend of ryes distilled by MGP and High West). The whiskey is now available through Speakeasy for $160 a bottle.
•Jackson, Mississippi’s Cathead Distillery has released Old Soul Bourbon Tintype #2, the latest release in the distillery’s collaborative series with the Music Maker Foundation. The new Bourbon is 9 years old, bottled at a cask strength 61.1% abv, and features a blues musician on the label. For this limited release, Cathead bottled 29 barrels, released to select retailers in 18 markets across the U.S. Old Soul Bourbon Tintype #2 carries a suggested price of $165.
