•Ole Smoky Distillery has announced a new national alignment with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, bringing the Tennessee distillery’s entire portfolio—including the recently acquired Tanteo Tequila—under SGWS in 36 states and Washington, D.C. In addition to bringing Tanteo into alignment with Southern Glazer’s, Ole Smoky announced that Tanteo’s warehousing and shipping operations have been integrated into Ole Smoky’s Newport, Tennessee facility. Ole Smoky sells over one million cases a year, per Impact Databank, and last year, Tanteo sold over 70,000 cases

•Proximo Spirits has announced the newest brand extension for its high-end Reserva de la Familia by Jose Cuervo: a new Cristalino Tequila. The 40% abv release is certified organic and matures for more than a year in American oak before finishing in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks for an undisclosed amount of time. The Tequila is then filtered and bottled. Reserva de la Familia Añejo Cristalino Organico is now available in select retailers across the U.S. for a suggested price of $150 a bottle.
