Winebow Bolsters Range With Newcomers From Italy, France

December 22, 2023

Winebow Imports is adding Sancerre’s Domaine Fouassier and two Italian wineries—Rocca di Frassinello in Tuscany and Feudi del Pisciotto in Sicily—to its Heritage Division effective in January. Domaine Fouassier specializes in single vineyard wines, with key offerings including Sancerre Sur le Fort, Sancerre La Garenne, and Sancerre Les Romains and retail pricing ranging from $40-$65.

Rocca di Frassinello, located in the Tuscan Maremma, is a joint venture between Castellare di Castellina in Chianti Classico and Bordeaux’s Chateau Lafite-Rothschild, co-owned by Paolo Panerai and Baron Eric de Rothschild. Its key wines include its namesake offering ($60), Le Sughere ($25), and Baffonero ($300). Feudi del Pisciotto, based in southeastern Sicily and also owned by Panerai, includes Sicilian varietals like Nero d’Avola and Pinot Nero, ranging from $25-$50.—Daniel Marsteller
