•Napa, California winery Darioush has named Allen Papp as vice president of sales. In his new role, Papp will set the winery’s sales and operations strategies, as well as drive growth domestically and internationally. Papp has been with Darioush since 2003, working in a variety of roles including national sales manager; director, national sales; and vice president, national sales. Darioush’s releases cover high-end Cabernet Sauvignon, red blends, and Merlot, among others.

•Tennessee’s Chattanooga Whiskey has announced the latest release in the distillery’s Experimental Single Batch Series, Batch 035: Centenary Cask. The 50% abv whiskey is a blend of a variety of whiskies made from different mash bills married, Solera-style, in a 100-year-old Oloroso Sherry barrel. This is the third release drawn from the Solera and only 100 gallons were removed for bottling. The whiskey is now available for a suggested price of $70 at the company’s Experimental Distillery as well as through Seelbachs.
