Absolut Extends RTD Range With Ocean Spray Partnership

Pernod Ricard-owned Absolut is rolling out a new line of sparkling vodka and cranberry RTDs in partnership with Ocean Spray. The range includes Vodka Cranberry, Vodka Cran-Grape, Vodka Cran-Pineapple, and Vodka Cran-Raspberry, all at 4.5% abv. The new entries are debuting in an 8-count variety pack (2 cans of each of the 4 flavors), single flavor 4-pack (Vodka Cranberry and Vodka Cran-Pineapple), and single 355-ml. cans.

According to Impact Databank, Absolut slipped an estimated 4% to 3 million cases in the U.S. last year, including flavors but excluding RTDs. In addition to the partnership with Ocean Spray, Absolut is rolling out a new Absolut & Sprite RTD early this year, initially in European markets.—Daniel Marsteller
