•New York-based importer and marketer Vintus is adding Chablis producer Domaine William Fèvre and Corbières producer Domaine d’Aussières to its portfolio, effective April 1. The move follows the purchase of the Fèvre estate by Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite (DBR Lafite), which was announced last year and recently closed. DBR Lafite is “confident this partnership will significantly increase the quality distribution of two jewels within our portfolio,” said managing director Saskia de Rothschild. Vintus CEO Michael Quinttus added, “The demand for high-quality Chablis continues to be strong” in the U.S. market.

•WES Brands, marketer of Flecha Azul Tequila, Fraser & Thompson Whiskey, and BSB Flavored Whiskey, has partnered with Colorado’s Aspen Distillers to bring Aspen Vodka to market. The 40% abv vodka is made from locally sourced Red Winter wheat and water from the Roaring Fork river. The partnership will allow Aspen to reach new markets on a path toward national availability. Within WES, Aspen Vodka will be led by senior brand director Joel Castillo, formerly of Moët Hennessy and Pernod Ricard. In addition to bringing Aspen Vodka to a wider audience, WES Brands has named Todd May as vice president of sales. May joins WES from Constellation Brands where he most recently served as senior director of sales.

•RNDC has aligned with Diverse Powered Brands, a B2B global digital catalog that aims to connect diverse suppliers, buyers, wholesalers, and investors across beverage alcohol. Diverse Powered Brands, which is now integrated into the eRNDC e-commerce platform, is billed as a way for retailers and on-premise players to find diverse suppliers across all beverage alcohol and non-alcohol categories as they look to satisfy demand in their local markets. In addition to its digital platform, Diverse Powered Brands also serves as a startup incubator for early-stage businesses in the drinks space.
