•Spirit of Gallo is launching a High Noon Fiesta Pack alongside a new 700-ml. canned offering for High Noon’s Tequila and lime seltzer. The new variety pack will launch this month and contains eight cans in four flavors: grapefruit, lime, prickly pear, and blood orange. The larger format 700-ml. can will begin to roll out across the U.S. in March. High Noon is the largest spirits brand in the U.S., according to Impact Databank, with estimated U.S. volume up 30% to 21.4 million cases.

•The owners of La Tour d’Argent, the legendary Parisian restaurant and Wine Spectator Grand Award winner, filed a complaint with police last week following an inventory taken of their extensive wine collection. More than 80 bottles, worth $1.63 million (€1.5 million), are missing from the cellar, including bottles from Burgundy’s Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. •On-premise velocity in the U.S. leapt forward by 8% in the week to January 20, according to new data from CGA by NIQ’s BeverageTrak. While weeks in early January showed a slump, BeverageTrak’s data points to a rebound in the last week with book check value and total traffic rising by 3% and 6%, respectively. Four of the five key markets tracked—New York, Florida, Illinois, and California—showed positive growth in the last week, with only the fifth market, Texas, declining. Year-over-year, sales velocity in Florida and New York has also shown growth, with California flat and Texas and Illinois down.
