April 24, 2024•New York-based importer Monsieur Touton Selections has added Fiol Prosecco to its range. The brand includes Prosecco Extra Dry NV in 750-ml. and 1.5-liter formats retailing at approximately $19 and $39 respectively. Vintage-dated Fiol Prosecco DOC Rosé retails at approximately $22 a 750-ml. The brand is now present across 15 East Coast markets, as well as Texas and Southern California, with more states on the way. Top restaurant accounts include Felice, Verŏnika, and Sona in New York City, The Charles and Sister in Dallas, and the newly opened Fontainebleau Hotel in Las Vegas.

•Napa-based JaM Cellars is adding two new wines to its Butter brand, a Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, both California appellated. Retailing in the below-$20 segment, the Butter range also includes Chardonnay, ButterCans, Butter Bubbles, and Butter Cab. The Butter brand, led by its Chardonnay, has been over 900,000 cases in the U.S. in recent years.
•San Francisco’s Hotaling & Co. has released another limited edition Bottled-in-Bond offering from Old Potrero Rye Whiskey. The 50% abv release is made from 100% malted rye and aged for 16 years in once-used charred oak casks. The whiskey was first released in 2006 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the San Francisco fire. For this batch, 432 bottles have been released, retailing at $199 a 750-ml.
