Grey Goose Extends At The High End With On-Premise Focused Altius

April 24, 2024

Upscale vodka brand Grey Goose, part of the Bacardi portfolio, is expanding its range at the top tier with a new expression called Altius. The new offering is aimed exclusively at top bars, nightclubs, and restaurants, selling in 700-ml. and 1.75-liter bottles priced at the discretion of the venue, with a suggested price of $1,000 a 700-ml.

Debuting in the U.S. market this fall, Grey Goose Altius is blended with spring water from the French Alps, filtered at sub-freezing temperatures, and packaged in tall, individually numbered bottles. It’s recommended to be served neat, deeply chilled, or over crushed ice.

Grey Goose’s shipments to the U.S. grew 9% to 2.7 million cases last year, according to Impact Databank. Globally, the brand saw retail value reach $1.6 billion in 2023.—Daniel Marsteller
