•Sugarlands Distilling is expanding its Roaming Man Tennessee Straight Whiskey brand. Formerly a limited release offering sold only in 375-ml. bottles, Roaming Man is now moving to 750-ml. format and rolling out across five states: Tennessee, Florida, Indiana, Louisiana, and Wisconsin. Roaming Man is a cask strength whiskey with a low-rye mashbill including Tennessee rye, white corn, and malted barley. In addition to Roaming Man, Sugarlands Distilling Co. brands include Sugarlands Shine, Sugarlands Sippin’ Cream, as well as High Rock Vodka in collaboration with Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his wife Amy Earnhardt.
•Sicilian boxed wine brand Alileo has extended its distribution to Texas, New York, New Hampshire, and Vermont, building on its existing presence in Massachusetts and New Jersey. Alileo includes Zibibbo Macerato, Young Grillo, Syrah, and Rosato Bronzato expressions, selling in 3-liter boxes at $40 and 1.5-liter boxes at $20. The wines are organic and unfiltered. Alileo was founded by Boston-based Antonio Bertone and Alexandra Drane and is produced in partnership with Bertone’s family in Sicily.
•NightOwl Espresso Martinis have partnered with Martignetti Cos. to enter the Massachusetts market. NightOwl made its debut in 2023 in New York, Florida, and New Jersey. The lineup includes vodka and Tequila styles both containing 12.5% abv, premium spirits, and coffee (100mg of caffeine). NightOwl is distributed in both single-serve and 4-packs of 200-ml. cans, with the 4-pack retailing at $20.
•Roxbury, Connecticut-based Mine Hill Distillery has launched a new ad campaign starring actor Chris Meloni. The ads highlight Mine Hill’s Connecticut heritage in a series of playful spots. Mine Hill Distillery is located in an 1860 cigar factory and produces Amaro, Gin, Bourbon, Rye, and Vodka, with ingredients sourced from the over 350-year-old Thrall family farm. The distillery was purchased last year by American author, craft spirits enthusiast, and historian Zachary Karabell alongside a consortium of investors. Mine Hill Distillery Gin retails at $46, while its Bourbon is positioned at $56.
