Rémy Cointreau’s Westland Expands With Cask Exploration Series

July 9, 2024

Rémy Cointreau is extending its Westland whiskey brand from Washington state with a new Cask Exploration series aimed at the high end of the American whiskey segment. Retailing at $75 a 700-ml., the Cask Exploration bottlings are slated to roll out nationally in September. The lineup includes American single malt whiskies with a Beer Cask Finish and Wine Cask Finish respectively, both bottled at 46% abv.

Known for American single malts, Westland’s range also includes its flagship bottling, as well as its Outpost Range, including Solum, Garryana, and Colere expressions. Westland Garryana No. 8 ranked third among Whisky Advocate’s Top 20 Whiskies of 2023. Westland is estimated at around 4,000 cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.—Daniel Marsteller
