•Suntory Global Spirits has introduced Knob Creek Bourbon x Rye, a new blend of the brand’s 9-year-old Bourbon and 7-year-old rye.  The whiskey is bottled at 56.5% abv and will be available for a limited time across the U.S. The blend carries a suggested price of $45 and follows the release of a 10-year-old rye whiskey from the brand that launched last month. Last year, Knob Creek was at 531,000 cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.

•Heaven Hill has released Elijah Craig Toasted Rye Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey in allocation across the U.S. The 47% abv whiskey starts as fully matured Elijah Craig rye, which is then given a second maturation in custom toasted and charred new oak barrels, allowing the release to keep its Straight whiskey designation. The whiskey carries a suggested price of $55 a 750-ml. and is rolling out now, with national availability expected by the end of the month. Last year, Elijah Craig was at 406,000 cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.

•New York-based Conecuh Brands has appointed Stephen Lewin as president and CEO. Lewin was most recently CEO of ATG Entertainment North America. Prior to that he held senior sales and marketing roles at Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits, Paramount Brands, and Moët Hennessy. In his new role he’ll lead Conecuh’s efforts across a portfolio that includes Clyde May’s Whiskey, Prospero Tequila, McConnell’s Irish Whisky, and Van Gogh Vodka. Lewin replaces Roy Danis, who had served as chief executive since 2015 and will now transition to a senior advisory role.

•Minnesota’s Prestige Beverage Group has named Dave McNulty as vice president, marketing and trade. McNulty joins Prestige with over 20 years’ industry experience, most recently working at Feast Agency following tenures at Stoli and Diageo. In his new role, McNulty will take charge of Prestige’s trade marketing team and develop new brand activations for Prestige’s portfolio, which spans from wines like Yes Way Rosé and Risata to spirits like Kinky liqueurs, 2XO Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, and Siempre Tequila.
