August 29, 2024•RNDC is launching Republic Digital (REDI), billed as a new “digital accelerator” aimed at helping brands maximize their marketing efforts in the online space. REDI has a partnership with Shopify, which will support brands with “three-tier compliant transactional websites by simplifying media buying to drive customer visibility,” according to the company. It will also boost brand messaging on marketplace platforms like Instacart, Uber Eats, DoorDash, and others. RNDC says that in a pilot program an unnamed large wine brand increased its gross merchandise value on these and other platforms by 400% by using REDI’s data insights. The company adds that it will provide a powerful new marketing tool for brands in the digital sphere.

•Suntory Global Spirits has announced The Infinite: Edition 1, the start of a new line of extensions for the Little Book collection of whiskies. The Infinite: Edition 1 blends whiskies made by the 6th, 7th, and 8th generation master distillers from the Noe family: Booker, Fred, and Freddie. The whiskey is made up of a 20-year-old Bourbon laid down by Booker, a 14-year-old Bourbon made by Fred, and a 7-year-old Bourbon distilled under Freddie’s purview. The three individual components were mixed with a fourth whiskey—an 8-year-old Bourbon—selected as the family component. Each year, a new whiskey will be added to the blend. Little Book The Infinite: Edition 1 is bottled at 59.65% and carries a suggested price of $200. The whiskey is rolling out in limited quantities across the U.S.
