•Johnson Brothers has appointed Yale Johnson as president of sales. The grandson of founder Lynn Johnson, Yale began his career at Gallo before joining the family business, where he most recently launched and led the luxury division, Oxford Street Merchants. In his new role he’ll lead all commercial activities, including developing strategic partnerships to drive long-term growth across the company’s 17-state footprint, and overseeing the supplier performance and external affairs teams. Johnson Brothers ranks fourth among all wine and spirits distributors nationally, with revenues projected to approach $3.3 billion this year, according to Shanken’s Impact Newsletter.

Brown-Forman has launched Jack Daniel’s Country Cocktails Hard Tea nationally, aggressively ramping up distribution following a 13-state test launch in the spring. The 5% abv FMB comes in four varieties—Original (sweet tea), Peach, Raspberry, and Blackberry—available in 12-ounce cans in a variety 12-pack, with the Original and Peach flavors distributed in individual 16- and 23.5-ounce cans. Last year, Jack Daniel’s Country Cocktails were at 2.2 million cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.
