•Southern Glazer’s has promoted Tim Redell to senior vice president, commercial sales and execution, American Liberty Division. Redell will report to BJ Vorderer, executive vice president, managing director of American Liberty Division, Southern Glazer’s dedicated division for the Pernod Ricard USA portfolio. Redell will be responsible for leading all sales execution activities, including partnering on short- and long-term strategic planning, developing and implementing programs, and ensuring sales objectives are achieved for Pernod Ricard USA. In his most recent role, Redell served as senior vice president, managing director of Supplier Development & Marketing.

•1800 Tequila, part of the Proximo portfolio, has launched a new holiday campaign in partnership with DoorDash and starring brand ambassador former NBA star Carmelo Anthony. The campaign storyline centers around the brand’s ultra-premium expression, 1800 Cristalino, as a gift “for those with next-level taste” and inviting consumers to send a bottle of 1800 Cristalino via DoorDash. 1800 had U.S. volume of 2.1 million cases last year, according to Impact Databank.

Pernod Ricard has teamed up with American singer Sabrina Carpenter to release the Absolut & Kahlúa Short ’n Sweet Espresso Martini cocktail kit. The collaboration, drawn from Pernod’s sponsorship of Carpenter’s tour, is now available via ReserveBar for $85. The kit contains 375-ml. bottles of Absolut and Kahlúa, as well as a can of Owen’s Espresso Martini mix, a coupe glass, and a kiss-shaped edible drink topper. Last year, Absolut was at 2.8 million cases in the U.S. and Kahlúa was at 929,000 cases, according to Impact Databank. In control states through September, both brands are down around 3%, per NABCA.
