February 5, 2025- Deep Eddy, part of the Heaven Hill portfolio, is adding a new pineapple flavor to its lineup. Made with real pineapple, the newcomer is rolling out nationwide, retailing at $18 a 750-ml. and $1.49 a 50-ml. Alongside Pineapple, Deep Eddy Vodka’s portfolio spans nine variations: the straight, 80-proof Original, Lemon, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Cranberry, Sweet Tea, Lime, Cranberry, Orange, and Peach.bDeep Eddy decreased 9% in the U.S. last year to 1.73 million cases, according to Impact Databank.
- González Byass USA has been named importer of record for Rhone Valley wine producer Jean-Luc Colombo. Known for Syrah-based wines from Cornas, Jean-Luc Colombo also offers Crozes-Hermitage, Chateauneuf du Pape, Condrieu and Viognier, Saint Peray, Saint Joseph, and Picpoul de Pinet. Jean-Luc Colombo joins a González Byass USA portfolio that includes wines and spirits from Spain, Chile, Italy, Austria, France, Mexico, Argentina, and Portugal.
- Ole Smoky has unveiled a new distillery and brewery concept in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in partnership with Yee-Haw Brewing. The new outpost will be located inside Broadway at the Beach, a shopping, dining, and entertainment destination. It will include a beer garden, full-service distillery, tasting rooms, guided tours, food and beverage offerings, and event spaces designed to host concerts, festivals, and private events. Ole Smoky’s first location outside Tennessee, it’s slated to open next year. Ole Smoky’s U.S. volume has been above 1.2 million cases recently, according to Impact Databank.
