Bulleit Frontier Whiskey has revealed its first bottled in bond Bourbon that was distilled and matured at Bulleit Distilling Co. in Shelbyville, Kentucky. It was distilled in Spring 2017, the year the distillery opened, aged seven years, and bottled at 50%. Bulleit Bottled in Bond maintains the brand’s signature high-rye mashbill of 68% corn, 28% rye, and 4% malted barley. The first bottling is available nationwide at a suggested retail price of $55, with further batches to be released annually, differentiated by the distilling seasons on the label. •Port producer Symington Family Estates has appointed Rupert Symington as its new chairman. He previously served as CEO. Simultaneously, head winemaker Charles Symington and fifth-generation family member Rob Symington have been appointed co-CEOs. The moves come as Johnny Symington, chairman since 2019, retires after a 40-year career with the company. The Symington portfolio includes Port brands Graham’s, Cockburn’s, Dow’s, and Warre’s; Douro wine brands Quinta do Vesuvio, Quinta do Ataíde, Altano, and Prats & Symington; as well as Quinta da Fonte Souto, based in the Alto Alentejo region of Portugal.

•Constellation chief growth and strategy officer Yuri Hermida is departing after a short tenure with the company. Hermida, who joined Constellation last fall, is leaving “to pursue a life-long career goal,” according to company CEO Bill Newlands. Mallika Monteiro, Constellation’s executive vice president, managing director – Beer Brands, will now serve as interim chief growth and strategy officer in addition to her current responsibilities, the company added.

•California-based Hotaling & Co. has added New Zealand’s Cardrona Distillery to its import portfolio. Cardrona’s portfolio covers a trio of single malt whiskies, plus The Reid vodka, all aimed at the luxury end of the spirits market. The whiskies—“Just Hatched,” “Growing Wings,” and “Full Flight”—are bottled at three-, five-, and seven-years-old, respectively, at cask strength, and carry a suggested price of $120 a 375-ml. bottle. The Reid vodka retails for $90 a 750-ml. and is distilled from malted barley before bottling at 44% abv. The latest additions to Hotaling’s portfolio are now available in California, Illinois, New York, and Nevada, with expansion planned for later in 2025.
