Jefferson’s Bourbon, part of the Pernod Ricard portfolio, has announced a new cask strength, limited edition whiskey. The 8-year-old Bourbon is bottled at 65% abv and carries a suggested price of $70 a 750-ml. Jefferson’s Reserve Cask Strength is rolling out now in limited quantities across the U.S. Last year, Jefferson’s was at 139,000 cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.

Skurnik Wines & Spirits is adding craft distiller St. George Spirits to its California distribution portfolio. A craft distilling pioneer, St. George was founded in Alameda, California in 1982 and produces single malts, gins, vodkas, brandies, liqueurs, and absinthe. Skurnik begins handling St. George’s offerings across the Golden State beginning this month.

Reserva de la Familia by Jose Cuervo has unveiled its 2025 collector’s box, designed by contemporary Mexican artist Ana Segovia. The custom piece, titled “No Señorita, Esos Colores son Prohibidos,” explores traditional charrería attire, featuring a charro suit in vibrant fluorescent and pastel tones. 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of Reserva de la Familia. The 2025 collector’s box designed by Ana Segovia will be available on retailer shelves at select liquor stores, restaurants, and bars this year for a suggested retail price of $189.

•Viña Concha y Toro’s Casillero del Diablo has released a special bottling of Selección Red as part of the second year of the brand’s partnership with the Mexican National Soccer teams. The wine ($13 a 750-ml.) is semi-sweet and sports a co-branded label that features the brand’s logo alongside imagery representing the country’s soccer teams. The new release also celebrates the Mexican National teams’ yearly series of matches in the U.S., MexTour and MexTour W. Selección Red is rolling out now to select retailers across the U.S. Casillero del Diablo grew 1% to 280,000 cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.

Johnson Brothers has named Nate Schmitt vice president of national accounts and category management. Schmitt joins Johnson Brothers from New Belgium Brewing, where he served as the craft brewer’s vice president of sales, national accounts—on- and off-premise. He brings over 20 years of experience to Johnson Brothers, including a decade with Diageo. Johnson Brothers, according to Shanken’s Impact Newsletter, is the fourth-largest wine and spirits distributor in the country, with annual revenue above $3 billion.
